It's honestly the perfect hotel for me!

The Amberley Inn is in a beautiful location just off Minchinhampton common. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast with pastries, fruit pots, local yoghurts, and freshly cooked English breakfast with Gloucestershire black spot sausage and bacon, mushroom, fried bread and poached egg. I enjoyed evening meal there too with the seafood gumbo.

Rooms could do with a bit of work, partly because the hotel is so vast and the upkeep must be an enormous task, but the facilities are basically very nice. Welcoming for dogs. Breakfast selection is full of varieties. The staff is warm and helpful. Prices are reasonable for dinner but the room price is a bit steep. After all, it is a once-a-while splash. It is worth it.

FANTASTIC hotel, full of history, beautiful, well kept building. Love the fact that local schools were invited to make artwork to be displayed in the corridors. I MUST STAY THERE AGAIN. Such comfortable rooms with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, bottled water, hair dryer, iron and board. Spacious rooms and the hotel was NOT noisy.
