I was happy with the stay very much. The both of interior and exterior are traditional and tasteful. I felt like I was in a fairy tale world. The location is just perfect (the best part is that the famous Huffskin is just 10sec from there!) in the center of the village. I appreciated that they provided several options of breakfast. My friend and I had different dishes, but both of them were very tasty. I want to bring my parents next time.

Such a caraterist historical little village, with an enchanting and peaceful feeling. Every corner, and every building, is so picturesque and deserving photos. Our main meals were at the Stow Lodge Hotel, food quality superb and good value for money. Loved the antique shops and local cafes.

Pretty little Cotswold town with lovely honey coloured stone everywhere.
There is free parking at the local Tesco supermarket, five minutes walk from the town. The town square has is very spacious and also has parking.
If you like coffee and beer, you are in for a treat. There is an abundance of tea and coffee rooms as lots of decent pubs, including the Porch Inn which claims to be England's oldest.
The townhall is worth a visit as it has a very elaborate upstairs hall.
Make sure you get a photo of yourself stood by the two Yew trees that grow at the front door to St Edwards Church - very iconic.
Lots of National Trust properties nearby too.

Stow on the Wold itself, is a typical example of some of the beautiful Cotwolds towns and villages. Plenty of pubs and restaurants to suit all budgets and good for shops. A great location for walking to other lovely Cotswold towns and villages such as Bourton on the Water and the Slaughters. Also a good location for exploring further afield by car.

Lovely market town, with some great gastro pubs.
Especially the Queens Head pub at the end of the square. Landlady Anna and the bar staff Eva really looked after us and we had a great dinner there.
Another tip is the famous Scott’s of Stow kitchen shop and their outlet store full of bargains upstairs.

Terrific location. Stow on the Wold is an ideal place as a geographical center for exploring the Cotswalds. Surrounding villages are mostly within a half hour drive. And even a side trip to Bath was an easy 90 minute drive. Road connections to Heathrow as easy as well. One of the advantages of Stow on the Wold is that it is a slightly larger town that offer a number of dining venues in the village so you don't have to drive anywhere in the evening.
This property was perfect for our family weekend. Everywhere was lovely and clean with enough space for us. The location could not be better. Walking distance from Stow on the Wold and a fabulous pub a 2 minute walk away (The Fox Inn). Very dog friendly, although mine did get under the fence (mad Cocker Spaniel will escape from anywhere!). We are definitely planning a return visit!
On arrival we were told we had been upgraded to a suite. This was a very spacious room with a king size bed, seating area, roll top bath and also a separate shower room with wc.
Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and cooked items were freshly prepared.
Stow on the Wold is a pleasant town ideally located for exploring other areas of the Cotswolds.
The hotel was in an excellent location in the middle of Stow-on-the-Wold with good parking. The room was comfortable, though the lighting was a bit dim for our liking. The restaurant was spacious and comfortable. There was a good choice for breakfast and the cooked breakfast was very nice. The staff were very cheerful, helpful, polite and friendly.
Great oldy worldy pub style hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of historic Stow on the wold. Private parking to the rear of the hotel was a welcome bonus.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was excellent and the breakfast included in the price was superb.
Highly recommend :)
Great location, clean, safe, friendly staff. Included breakfast was delicious. Restaurant staff was attentive and kind. We thought the porridge was exceptional (saying a lot from our family of Yanks). The town is charming. Great base for exploring the Cotswolds. Beautiful rooms and amenities.
The hotel and staff are very welcoming and friendly.
The food was exceptional both at breakfast and especially the evening meal in the restaurant.
For visiting the area and attractions in this part of the Cotswolds the hotel is well placed and has ample parking in the car park.

The location is excellent. Dinner at their restaurant was truly outstanding. The hotel is very clean and modern in a historic building. Parking behind the hotel is very convenient and you need it!
