They had a lot of variety for the dinner and breakfast. Everything was very clean. The best part was the very nice staff, especially during the meals. I’m terrible with names, but I especially appreciate the waiter who helped us who was originally from Nepal. There was also an older gentleman who made origami for our kids, but every person we me was super kind and genuine. It was also good that many of the staff spoke good English as my Japanese is very limited.

Opened in 1878, Fujiya Hotel features Meiji Era architecture set in Hakone’s natural beauty. Very well maintained. Beautiful hotel with rich history. Gardens are great. Staff very warm and welcoming. Good size rooms.

Everything was perfect ! The room was beautifully made in Japanese traditional way. We could use the private onsen and it was very nice and clean. The breakfast was also excellent. A special mention to our hosts that make our stay exceptional in Tokyo !
