The well-known Kaeng Khud Khu Islet is just a 20-minute ride from Chiangkhan River Mountain Resort. Chiangkhan Walking Street is a 5-minute drive from the property. When we booked the room through booking.com we were under the impression that the room included a bath, however once we arrived we were informed that there had been an error and that the room we had booked did not have a bath. This was not a major issue and we were happy enough to accept that an error had occurred in the information on booking.com website regarding room facilities. Whilst we were happy with the room supplied and eager to enjoy our stay regardless, unbeknown to us the hotel staff contacted booking.com to query the information on there website. Booking.com kindly authorised an upgraded room for us which was outstanding. We would like to thank both the hotel staff and booking.com for their kindness and for making our anniversary trip so stress free and enjoyable. The hotel is in a great location and is spotlessly clean, the staff are very attentive and professional, without doubt one of the best hotels we have stayed in. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone considering a trip to this area.

River front not far with a market and restaurants. Brilliant value for money, we offered to pay for breakfast, they just said no. Off road parking. We'd love to stay again. Far exceeded our expectations.

Set in lush tropical garden next to the mighty Mekong River, Mekong Villas enjoy magnificent 180 degree river views. Located in Pak Chom, it is approximately a 1-hour drive from Loei Airport and an airport shuttle is available at an additional cost. Free WiFi is available in public areas. We needed a break from the daily life and this place is perfect for that. Close to the river with nature around and all alone to treat ourselves. Staff was really nice and was ready to take care of us. Not the last time we will spend time there to recharge our batteries 😁
