We stayed with our little dog and everyone loved him and treated him so well, there was no additional charge for him either which is rare. TOP experience!

Tanote Villa is a 5-minute walk from Tanote Bay. Offering free parking, the resort is a 15-minute drive from Koh Tao Pier and a 20-minute drive from Mae Haad Pier. Wow just wow. This resort is located in an amazing jungle setting with views towards the Tanote Bay. 10 minutes walk down through the jungle to the beach. The rooms in the main building have stunning views of the bay and sea. They offer 3 fixed schedule daily rides to the other side of the island for free! The breakfast is good, with options of Thai food, omlete, fried egges, and a selection of fruits. Their restaurant is also very good for dinner, with different Thai dishes, curryes, with desired level of spiciness. Other food options can be found at the bars/restaurants on the beach, or a couple of minutes up the road at the Sun and Moon traditional restaurant and cooking classes. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!

Sensi Paradise Beach Resort is located on Koh Tao Island, a short boat ride from Koh Samui and Koh Phangan Islands. The resort is a 15-minute boat ride from Nang Yuan Island. Great beach views and fairly quiet. We didn’t eat a lot in the restaurant but what we did it eat was good. Lovely pool and always heaps of beds. clean and spacious rooms.

Jamahkiri Dive Resort & Spa - SHA PLUS & Spa provides luxurious accommodation along Thian Og Bay on Koh Tao Island. It offers WiFi and pier transfers for free. It has a private beach, a pool and certified diving centre. The hotel looks like paradise. The food and cocktails are tasty and the staff are very nice. Very close to the coral reef. You can see there sharks and large tortoises.

It was also peaceful, away from the maddening crowds, but close enough to walk into town.
