Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free.

Free WiFi is available in public areas. Sorrento Harbour, where guests can catch ferries to Capri, is a 25-minute drive from the property, while Sorrento Train Station is 3 km away.

This hotel, without previously knowing me, helped me arrange a special request I will forever be grateful for! Besides, the hotel is very enchanting, elegant, and authentic, reminiscent of rustic Italian haciendas, with many terraces full of plants offering sea views (even breakfast is served on a beautiful terrace directly overlooking the sea) and beautiful gardens all around the property; it's practically an estate. You need to be there to fully experience the vibe, but it is on par with much more expensive accommodations you can find in Tuscany, for example. Our room was cute with a direct view of the sea, Mount Vesuvius, and the Sorrento coastline. Everybody from the staff was incredibly hospitable, dedicated and pleasant. This could be a luxurious 5-star hotel with certain upgrades, but I think it's better to stay exactly as it is, offering authentic experience at a reasonable price.

Owner left some snacks and a bottle of water for us on arrival which was a nice touch. Really comfortable. Communication via WhatsApp/telephone call. Really helpful. Only stayed one night as we had the rest of the holiday in a nearby hotel but wish we had have stayed longer here now. Would definitely recommend.

Sorrento is love at first sight - it has become my favourite Italian city. I arrived with my mom and Salvatore, the very kind host, was waiting for us. He explained everything we needed. The accommodation was very comfortable, small, but perfect for two - you MUST roam the streets and feel the city all day anyway. They cleaned the room every day and it felt really nice. The accommodation is close to the grocery store, the train station (to Naples) , the SITA bus stop (to get to Amalfi coast) and is actually in the heart of the city. There are super shops, nice clothes, local leather goods, ceramics and sweets to buy in town, great food to eat, much better pizza here than in Naples :) - but also lots of churches, museums and the wonderful lemon and orange groves will make your stay an experience - you simply MUST return here.

    Incredible views of Sorrento and Mt. Versuvius. Ornella was a great host - she prepared breakfast every morning and we had a lovely dinner one night, all at a very reasonable price. We loved the cats and the dog, Pluto. Lovely to be up on the hills outside Sorrento. Best to hire a car.

    I had such a wonderful time at Casale Antonietta. The rooms are priced very competitively and are exceptionally clean. While not located in the city center of Sorrento, it is easily accessible by bus. The staff were incredibly helpful and polite. Maria, in particular, was a fantastic host, always available to assist us and ensure we had the best possible stay. Additionally, the cleaning staff were extremely friendly and polite.     The peaceful location, so quiet and relaxing. We loved the views and the large room. The breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice served most days outside was lovely. Our hosts were also delightful, so kind and helpful plus the cute dogs. The free shuttle service back from town was great and we used it most evenings but we walked down every day as it's such a picturesque walk.

    We had a fantastic stay. Everyone was super friendly. The accommodation was beautiful. There was fantastic homemade breakfast every morning. With homemade treats like juices and jams made from garden fruits. The location was great and very quiet. There was a cute little dog that invites you to pet it. If we were in Sorrento again we would stay at the Sosó again.

    The location for the price point is fantastic. Excellent area along Corso Italia with easy walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel is basic, but clean and sufficient. Close to the parking area. Pets are allowed and my dog enjoyed the room as well.

    The private beach is lovely! The staff is very friendly. There is parking, which is a must in this area. They are truly pet friendly, our dog was happy! :) They have a nice restaurant, with vegetables from their garden. They also make their own olive oils and limoncello. We had a wonderful stay!

    Beautiful location on the hillside over looking the water. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Loved the room decor and manicured lawns. The shuttle bus was great and always on time. Added bonus, they were pet friendly.
