I stayed here with my husband and my mother between December 21st and 28th and had an amazing time. The apartment is huge, kitchen is very well equipped with everything you may need. The living room is great with large smart tv. There are 3 rooms and the beds are very comfortable. One room has adjacent bathroom and there is also another bathroom that is entered from the living room. There were enough towels, soap, toilet paper and the owner sent us a message after a couple of days asking if we needed any more. The location was perfect, it took us only 5 minutes by car to CR7 parking garage in the city center. There is also a big supermarket and a takeaway restaurant just 2 minutes away by car. There are several parking spaces next to the house. The first night none were available so we parked across the street, but every other night at least one spot was available. The apartment is also very quiet. You can hear cars from the street, but there isn't that much traffic. They also have such a lovely dog. He is behind a fence so no worries if you are scared of dogs. He would never bark but would always come to greet us waving his tail when we would arrive back to the apartment which really made our day. The owner was very kind and polite. He does not speak English, but using Booking's translate option our communication worked great. I can't recommend this place enough. If we come back, we will certainly stay here again.

Casa do Avô ligger i Ponta do Sol, tæt på Lugar de Baixo-stranden og 2,5 km fra Ponta do Sol-stranden. East to get place, you need to park outside on the road, as locals do. rooms and bathrooms super clean and astonishing amazing view. we had some barbecue with fish and while we had dinner neighbors played music, so it was just amazing vibe.

Most beautiful sunset of Madeira, our place was super cosy and clean. Our host was very friendly and helpful with some tips for walks, restaurants and bars, he even gave us a map. The garden was cosy with loads of butterflies, swimming pool had a good size and it was very clean. Definitely the best place and view of the Island, I regret not booking for the entire week.

Casa da Avó Duca ligger omkring 600 m fra Banda d'Alem-stranden og har en rolig gadeudsigt samt indkvartering med terrasse. Amazing traditional house. Very comfortable position in Machico. Host is always ready to help. Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful room, wonderful hostess, clean, comfortable and a great view. Breakfast was great too. Very welcoming.
