Kings Cross, Londýn – hotely

Housed in the former Camden Town Hall Annex in London’s thriving King’s Cross neighbourhood, the 1974 Brutalist building has been meticulously restored and is The Standard’s first hotel outside... Everything was wonderful! The bar downstairs is the perfect place to relax after a long day, with several different settings whether it’s a drink, dinner or sitting for coffee or tea, all surrounded by great lighting and small fireplaces which make the place feel very cozy. The room is the perfect size with great design though not overdone and has everything you could want, including a really wonderful bed and shower. Really great location right next to St. Pancras Station and the staff were super lovely at check in and check out. Thanks again to Anna at the Front Desk for being so nice, hope to return soon!

Situated in Bloomsbury, London, the family-run Harlingford Hotel features free WiFi and is just 700 metres from British Museum. This hotel is located in a quiet street so I was able to sleep all 3 nights really well. The hotel is nice and I loved the fireplace in the lobby.

The 4-star Pullman St Pancras is a 3-minute walk from the Eurostar terminal and 5 minutes' walk from Kings Cross and Euston Underground and train stations. It is conveniently located between two underground stations and close to Euston. The British Library is right across the street! The staff is very professional and courteous. And the breakfast is exquisite.

Hotel Euro sídli v krásnej georgiánskej polkruhovej ulici, necelých 500 metrov od železničných staníc King's Cross a St Pancras. Location for 3 reasons: (1) the proximity to the Eurostar-King's Cross stations and to Russell Square station (tube) (2) the quiet-safe neighborhood (such a nice break from the hustle-bustle of the city center), just in front of a pleasant public garden (3) the proximity to the city center by directly Piccadilly Line. The neighborhood has a good mix: people from the neighborhood, offices, and the university, which gives travelers a glimpse of London's daily life. This is a small hotel with THE efficiency of the staffs. Impressive work, especially during the busy breakfast time. Bravo! Everything was great: the cleanness of the room, bathroom, and hotel AND the staffs' resourcefulness. The high ceiling room was a bonus, which did not give us a crammed feeling at all, in spite of the room size (not obvious from the Booking photos). A high ceiling room usually gives you a spacious effect; it is an intangible aspect, but surely it made a difference. What a pleasure to come back to a spacious room after spending all day walking. On our way to the tube station (Russel SQ) from the hotel, there are small cafes, restaurants, pubs, and mini grocery stores; there are "Pret a Manger" and TESCO (24h open) just in front of the tube station. Very convenient. With this hotel, you are in good hands. NO doubt to book this hotel again when we come back to London! : )

Nestled in the heart of the historic Bloomsbury district, The Goodenough Hotel is a sophisticated, luxury hotel steeped in history dating back to the 19th century. Cozy, spacious and clean rooms. Our room was much bigger than it seemed it would be from the pictures. The hotel itself is located right next to a park in a nice and safe district. Main metro and bus lines are a 5 to 10 minute walk away, so getting around is very convenient. The British Museum is within walking distance. The staff was very accommodating - helped us store our bags both before and after checking in, charged our powerbanks.

Hotel sa nachádza oproti stanici Kings Cross a stanici medzinárodných vlakov Eurostar St. Pancras. Specious luxurious room. Extremely professional, helpful and nice staff. The knew what I need before I knew it (they noticed I am under time pressure and offered to call a cab even though my destination was very near by, it still helped a lot). Also helped me to plan my trip to Gatwick airport. Thanks!

The hotel is in an excellent location, Russell Square Station (piccadilly line) is close to the hotel and connects to Holborn station (central line). There are excellent buses in the area. A 15-minute walk to Oxford Street. There are chain and hotel cafes in the area. There is a convenience store where you can buy almost everything you need. You should bring reusable shopping bags. You will hardly find plastic bags, only paper bags for money. Tip: From Russell Square station you can get to hetero international airport and vice versa. Just note that the train from Russell Square station does arrive to the airport, not every train does.
