The front desk is available 24/7 and was always pleasant! The hotel is centrally located in Ostia, which is roughly 15min by car from Rome. There are restaurants and small grocery stores walking distance from the hotel, as well.

The beach looked great and if we were staying longer and the weather was warmer, we would have definitely spent some time there. There was a lot of restaurants to choose from and the two meals we had were quite good.

The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything we needed for our 3 week stay. The number 5 bus stop was across the road from the apartment which stopped across from the train station which took you into Rome. The beach was a walk away with plenty of facilities. Ostia is ok.
Ostia is ok. The beaches are mostly private and you have to pay , they stop you to go in. There are couple areas pubic. It’s close to Fiumicino so it’s convenient to take a taxi…25euro. It is a very nice area especially when the weather is sunny and hot. There are many nice places to eat and drink either by the seaside or elasewhere. It is very enjoyable to walk around the area and enjoy the excellent sea view.

The rooms are in a quiet flat, not loud in the evenings. Located right by Lido Centro so you have access to Rome easily. Ten minute walk from the beach. Restaurants all around open into the night.

The place is quite small with two bedrooms and a small kitchen, but it’s perfect for the location. Because the soon as you walk out the front door you’re surrounded by restaurants and shops and on the weekend it was a nice market set up on the plaza. The free beach is down the street or you can pay for an umbrella and chair for about $20. Ostia Antica is only a bus trip away.
