Het Domaine du Château de Monrecour - Hôtel et Restaurant - Proche Sarlat ligt in het hart van de Dordogne-vallei in de regio Périgord Noir. The staff and the hotel are just excellent, the grounds and Chateau are amazing. Staff have attention to detail such as they'd put the Air Con on hours before we arrived at our room, with 36c temps, it was awesome to walk into a cool room. The staff were super-friendly & helpful, although it's location means you'd ideally need to drive anywhere (nearest village is not a safe walk on the main road), we've never felt the need to leave the place when using their amazing restaurant. We stayed mainly because of the restaurant, and it didn't disappoint us a 2nd time we've stayed here. We stayed at 8 hotels in 8 nights and this is probably the best, and ironically one of the cheapest - it's such good value. The pool was a perfect temperature too.

Wonderful views onto the river and terraces. Autonomous entry was east. Restaurant downstairs was high standard with charming staff, we ate there three nights. Highly recommended.

La Masia Del Taulat Chambres d´Hôtes is gelegen in Llo met uitzicht op de bergen en heeft een restaurant, een gedeelde lounge, bar, tuin en terras. The house is full of charm and has unbeatable views of the mountains Cadí and Carlit. The breakfast and dinner spread was some of the best I’ve had in a guesthouse and the hospitality incomparable. Toni and Miguel are amazing hosts who truly care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy, comfortable and well-fed. I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Château Laffitte Carcasset in Saint-Estèphe biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, gratis fietsen, een buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. The rooms were phenomenal—such unique architecture and finishings. It felt very luxurious at a reasonable price. The grounds are stunning with the pool and gardens. The common area was comfortable and well stocked. Breakfast was the best on our trip through the region. And the staff was so friendly and accommodating. They gave great recommendations and even worked to book us extra tastings. Fantastic stay.

Château Fleur D'Aya in Artigues-près-Bordeaux biedt accommodatie met uitzicht op de tuin, een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. We absolutely LOVED staying at Chteau Fleur D'Aya! We were immediately made to fee super welcome and in fact on our first night we chose to sit and eat our dinner (bought from a local supermarket) with Henri and loved listening to his stories about the amazing restoration he implemented at the Chateaux. The Chateaux is a fabulous mix of historical beauty and modern interior design - it has been renovated in a stunningly sensitive and clever way and we loved staying somewhere so different! The beds were super comfortable and the shower and bath etc were wonderful. We actually did not find the time to get a swim in as we at two Rugby World Cup matches to attend but it looked wonderful and the hosts were super relaxed about us using it at any time. We are hoping to make a return sometime in the future when we have more time to enjoy the Chateau and Bordeaux and it's surroundings.

Le Château de Roquebère is gelegen in Condom, op 40 km van Agen Expo Congrès, en biedt gratis WiFi, gratis privéparkeren en uitzicht op de tuin. Hele vriendelijke gastvrouw. In de avond heerlijk meegegeten met haar man en nog een gast. Supergezellig ondanks af en toe de taalbarrière.

Château Bonalgue - Pomerol bevindt zich in Libourne en biedt gratis WiFi, een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. An ideal location and the breakfast was always delicious!

Château Saint-Pierre de Mejans is gelegen in Puyvert en biedt gratis WiFi, een seizoensgebonden buitenzwembad, een tuin en een gedeelde lounge. Everything - it was about as picturesque as it gets, and we were only sorry not to be able to stay longer, I would come back to Provence just to stay here!
