Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around.
Wonderful holiday town. Easy to get around. Lots to do and see in and around Plettenberg Bay. Be careful whe choosing accommodation. Booking.com asked our arrival time at our accommodation booked which we said will be between 16h00 and 17h00. We had the option to pay on arrival. For security we gave our credit card number on booking.com. However...our host put the payment through at 14h00 when we were stil in Knysna. Our host added an additional fee to our booking. Our host had his own reasons for charging the additional fee. We arrived in time. Will not recommend The Green Palm Cottage

Our family's time in Plettenberg Bay was truly unforgettable. The town's central location made exploring the area a breeze, with convenient access to local amenities like grocery stores and the stunning nearby beaches. We were thrilled to discover attractions such as the Knysna Elephant Park and Adventure Land, just a short drive away, adding excitement to our vacation. However, one thing to note is that there are limited halaal food options in the area, which posed a challenge for us. Nonetheless, after our adventures, returning to our cozy retreat provided the perfect opportunity to relax and recharge. The warm hospitality of the locals further enhanced our experience, leaving us with cherished memories of our time in Plettenberg Bay. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of adventure and relaxation on South Africa's beautiful coastline.

The highlight of our visit was our walk on the Robberg Peninsular - stunning scenery, seals and other wildlife (lizards etc). Make sure if you do the walk that you take plenty of water with you, wear proper walking shoes (flip flops just won't cut it) and be aware that in some places there are climbs that are quite challenging.

Jillie the host was helpful & kept in touch despite travelling back from UK.
The apartment was like a boutique hotel, comfortable, stylish, well equipped and spotlessly clean.
I was working so the outside work area with power points as well as the spectacular view of the beaches made working a joy.
Its has a great location, you can walk to all the local Plett amenities & wifi even worked during the electricity outages that are effecting South Africa.
I'd highly recommend No,2 in Plett and the hostess Jillie
Unique accommodation up in the treetops near Plettenberg Bay. The room was amazing with a huge sitting room, patio, separate balcony and big bathroom with outdoor and indoor shower. Staff were very friendly and made sure we were having a great experience. Check in in time to make sure you get maximum time to enjoy the room but also the grounds of the hotel with its beautiful chapel and aloe gardens. Thanks to the family for a great stay!
Excellent hospitality from the staff right from check-in to check-out as they went above and beyond in providing us with a luxurious stay. The on-site restaurant has breathtaking views of the coast and their breakfast was the best during our week-long garden route road trip. Will recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a 5-star stay near Plettenberg Bay with lots of attractions within 15-min driving distance from the hotel.
The hotel staff were very friendly and gave us such a great surprise by upgrading our room as we had been travelling for our honeymoon. That was already amazing, but they went even further with a bottle of wine and a nice floral outlay on our bed to make the night just a little more elevated and special.
The entire hotel and its staff are outstanding and we really appreciated the entire stay.
We adored this hotel. Loved all the tiny details in the room and in the hotel (free canoe hire, beautiful small pool, incredible sunsets and sunrises). Hotel staff incredibly friendly and helpful, gave us lots of recommendations and advice. Food at dinner was delicious - very hearty meals, very tasty. Our only regret was we didn't have longer there.
The perfect location with friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay here and will be back. The hotel’s staff is exceptional and their attention to detail is phenomenal. We also loved the gym area and relaxing by the pool whilst overlooking the ocean was fantastic. Thank you again!
Great hotel, I am glad I came across it. Modern & clean rooms. The location is also great, and close to the beach (you would walk around 10 minutes though). Value for money, the hotel is cheaper than many other hotels while it has everything. The staff is friendly. Everything was really good.
Convenient in town … / music at night from the club disturbing -very unattractive view from the room … breakfast good but cappuccino not included you must pay extra for that . Staff try their best … not enough sun lounges - hotel new but can see it was rushed to finish for the holiday …
The location could not be better, you are right on the beach. Not only that, but the hotel offers beach chairs, towels and umbrellas if you want to make a trip to the beach. the staff were lovely, breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean and spacious! would highly recommend!
Everything!!!!
Beautiful house, and very comfortable well equipped rooms. Amazing breakfast, cooked by our great hostess Caroline.
Enjoyed feeling like we were in a home rather than a hotel room. And Lady the gorgeous cat was an added bonus.
The location is good, supermarket and restaurants are near by. And it's also close to Beacon island beach. Very nice view from the balcony and breakfast site. The owner couple are very friendly and helpful🥰
A spacious room with an excellent view over Plettenberg Bay. Staff was very helpful and the B&B was near shops and restaurants. In short: an excellent place to stay for a holiday trip at the Garden Route.
The location is spectacular and the hotel exceeded our expectations, I would definitely stay there again again. The service we received from the stuff is amazing, we actually wanted to extend our stay.
Absolute perfect location. Beautiful country setting with amazing view of Plettenberg Bay. Stunning gardens and the freedom to walk around to enjoy the beauty. Great hosts.
