It was not easy to get around Izmir as there were not signs in English. And there were not booklets in English for tourists to be well oriented in the city.
We enjoyed the boat trip and walked along the seaside.

So many things to see on day trips from the area: Ephesus, Pamukkale and Hieropolis, Cesme, etc. What's left of old part of town is worth a visit as are the remains of the ancient Greco-Roman town (though a lot is currently closed off). Much of the city by the water is 'new' because of the destruction of the 1922 fire, which is sad. But a great experience overall (even the taxi drivers are nice and honest, and the weather was much better than in Istanbul). Definitely want to go back.

Konak area is good for tourist and close to Clock Tower and Kemeralti carsi. Kardiyaka is very good are to see , you can go eith tram or ferry. Also very interesting part is Dario Moreno street where you have very nice bars and nightlife. At the end you can rich with elevator to the top restaurant with magnificent view of the city.
It is an absolutely wonderful and perfectly located hotel, with hospitable and accommodating staff! Amazing! Thank you soo much for such an amazing holiday, that I could have and fully enjoy thanks to you! Recommend anyone, visiting Izmir!
The hotel has a perfect location, in the heart of Izmir, by the seaside. Perfectly communicated with the rest of the city, thanks to nearby tramways and ship trams. Close to the big bazaar, Ataturk Museum, plenty of restos and cafes - I will come back definitely!
The Hotel Service was exceptionally! Rooms very modern and stylish. The first place in turkey where I got fresh pressed orange juice for breakfast. Also, complimentary mini bar. Location is very central and perfect to explore Izmirs old town.
Parking was free of charge and excellently serviced (valet)
The road side room was a little noisy and the restaurant prices are way too high.
All in all a good choice if you visit Izmir.
We loved everything about the hotel. The rooms were very spacious, tidy and had all facilities (AC, balcony, kettle, etc). The breakfast was very nice and rich. The location of the hotel was very good, near Izmir attraction park. Amazing staff, especially Mr.Mustapha the best of all. He was very helpful and nice to have around. My mom and I really enjoyed talking and chatting with him. He is very outgoing and welcoming.
This hotel is a sparkling jewel in the city of Izmir ! The staff here are just wonderful, attentive, fun, friendly, helpful and kind ! Nothing is too much trouble
The food is amazing and there is such a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant.
The location is perfect, right in the middle of the bazar, perfect for shopping and sightseeing.
I will return again without a second thought !
❤️❤️❤️
Incredible location, near to lots of restaurants, bars and cafes. Not loud since it’s on a side street. Owner was very kind. The building is very old, so the room and bathroom are quite dated. Towels and linens are mismatched and used, but seemed clean. It is significantly cheaper than every other place in Izmir, so you get what you pay for. Definitely a hostel vibe rather than a hotel.
We had a room with sea view (facing towards Izmir and sea on the 10th floor. This is excellent 10/10!
The room is about the average standards of quality comparing to the 5 start hotel peers.. However, the towels and bath ropes are the best we have seen. You can buy here in the hotel or go to the next door Ozinik store to buy which we did!
Breakfast is comparatively average.
The hotel is well situated if you enjoy walking along the bay. Plenty of restaurants in the district. The staff is helpful though only limited English but enough staff that are fluent in English to make it pleasant. The restaurant is very pleasant. The breakfast area has breath taking views of the Izmir Bay and is very spacious and pleasant tried in late summer and winter.
Fantastic suite with additional kitchen and lounge area. Very modern and beautiful interior design details. Large balcony with mountain views. It is a good location to get to from the airport and there is the Optimum shopping centre just 5min walk from the hotel for convenient restaurants, shopping, entertainment. Overall perfect for my business trip to Izmir.
Hotel is located within the periphery of Izmir's center and the room was quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was quite good The staffs went above and beyond to extend great hospitality and a wonderful service. Special thanks to Mr Burak at the reception and Ms. Hale at the restaurant for their care which made our stay quite special.
The room was very nice, clean, good size, very comfortable bed. The view was also very nice. It is next to the metro, so it is very easy to reach anywhere in Izmir. There are many shopping malls within walking distance of the hotel. The breakfast was also very nice, adequate amount of variety. We loved our stay at Ramada Encore.
th hotel is very nice, with specific design. the staff is super friendly and ready to help. i personally liked the location as it is some meters away from Izmir Korfez where you can walk and enjoy sea breeze and sun , but if you don’t like loud places then you better find smth else as the hotel is on the very lively boulevard
The hotel is well located, near from Konak and Alsancak and the sea (10 minutes walking). Easy to reach also, because near of the train station.
Breakfast is the tipical Turkish breakfast, of course it was good. Staff was good also. I recommend, if I need to come back to Izmir and I need a hotel, I'll remember.
location is very good, 10 mins walking from corniche. room was a bit small, but i stayed there only for one night. the personnel was friendly. breakfast was average compared to what normally Turkey hotels offer. Parking is on the other side of the road a bit challenge to make some rounds on one way streets.
This hotel is really nice with a cute personnel , young dynamic client friendly … this place was exceptional in terms of atmosphere, quality of foods, live music , quality of bed, bedroom, bathroom !!!
The kind of place you like to discover by surprise near the Izmir bazaar and the seaside !!
Great location, clean rooms, many options for breakfast (including juices, cheeses, olives, fruits, vegetables, omelette bar, hot options, breads) - one of the best breakfasts during our stay in Turkey.
We had a wonderful stay at the Smart Hotel & highly recommend for families.
The best hotel in Izmir
I have already been to Izmir a couple of times and stayed In similar standard hotels but this was the best
The staff is so amazing, the location is amazing, Everything was perfect
excellent location, easily to get the hotel from Izmir airport by metro-train, near metro station, near small supermarket and easily to find some food and drink, staffs are nice and helpful.
