Nykoping is a perfect place for a weekend getaway.
Nykoping is a perfect place for a weekend getaway. If you spend there more than a week, you feel like there is nothing more to do in the city. Nykoping is a nice place, but a weekend is just enough :)

Small but nice city you can take great pictures of old castle and park on water side. Uber is available but no cars were available so bus 515 related to skavsta airoport is very good. The 515 bus station is 5 minutes walk from nykoping city center and Road by bus nykoping - skavsta airoport it takes 10 minutes and buses are departing hourly. So is worth visiting the city center of nykoping if you have time

We’re only there for about 24h and we struggled to find anything to do. Definitely a pit stop area. No exciting restaurants, no exciting shops or museums, just nothingness. I can’t imagine why people would live here unless they’re as interesting as a piece of cucumber. Highlight was eating at KFC, which says it all really.

Pretty and relaxed town - not much exciting stuff to do, but perfect for a weekend get-away and for outdoor walking activities. Also if you have a car, there are things around to visit such as historical sites, natural reserves etc. Also people are outgoing and friendly.
The harbour is nice to see, and the russian hill.

The area along the river is lovely for either a walk or sitting outside at one of the restaurants having a meal. The town is clean and beautiful in June and it's easily walkable. There are lots of playgrounds for kids and open spaces for dogs.
The room was pretty and spacious, and very clean. Breakfast was excellent. If you wish to dine in the hotel, remember to book your table in advance, the restaurant was full. Dinner was also very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. We arrived several hours before the check-in time, and with a small additional cost we got our rooms for our use. If you are traveling with dogs, this place is for you. Pets are welcome and right next to the hotel is a nice little forest with trails.
The hotel is in a small forest beside highway. Easy to drive there by car. Rooms are in three different buildings and the outdoor landscape is very nice. Many people walk outside and eat outside.
Our room is very new and spacy. We see many trees from our window and it is very quiet at night. The bed is so comfortable and we hope we can sleep longer.
We had good buffet dinner and breakfast in hotel.
Accommodation included breakfast and dinner, and even coffee in the afternoon - we found this an excellent arrangement. We knew the city and had no desire to look for restaurants. Our main interest was re-visiting places where we had been many years earlier in and around Nyköping and Oxelösund (Femöre), and the location of this hotel was best suited for this purpose.
Sunlight Hotel Conference & Spa boasts a truly unique and special interior that exudes charm and character. The breakfast options are diverse and delicious, catering to various preferences. The only drawback is its distance from the city center, requiring a bit more travel time to reach attractions.
The hotel is above star grade on booking regarding families on the road. The front desk was very helpful, we arrived very late and very late dinner was organised for us. The atmosphere in the hotel was super nice and friendly. One big thank you to the front desk lady.
Very friendly staff, good size rooms, It was quiet and nothing outside that disturbed your sleep even if the hotel is close to the highway and popular fast-food restaurants.
The hotel is close to the airport and Nykoping city (by car/ bus)
Very quiet place in idyllic countryside. Picturesque landscapes surrounding farm from Astrid Lindgren books. It's unbelievable that in less than 10 minutes drive you get to Nykoping.
centrally located, closed to the seaside. great value for this money.
very convenient if you need to take a flight from Skavsta airport, bus station is just 5-7 min away by walk

Nice cottage, small but beautiful and cozy; Annett is a very nice host; communication was easy and breakfast was very good; beautiful landscape and near to Skavsta airport
