Anjuna beach was about 3.5 km from our hotel. It was overcrowded and quite dirty. The flea market is good if you can bargain well. To get around it is advisable to rent a bike or car. There’s some good food and service , and the vibe is good at Artjuna If you’re into the sports bar thing , Bobby’s Fat Fish is good , with a very good fish thali . But the many small stalls , and the large liquor outlets really detract from the small town’s appearance I think , it’s hard to find a little tea shop , serving fresh samosas and chai . But the worst thing for me , is the abundance of techno music , blaring out from empty places , like there’s a dance party on every corner .Robert - 10Scored 10

Anjuna is a great and relatively central location in North Goa. Calangute/ Baga and Siolim were both only 5-6 kms away from Anjuna. Making the overall internal travel much cheaper. Unless all places on your list are in Baga, I strongly suggest living in Anjuna instead. Vagator and Ozran Beach and all their beach side restaurants are only 2 kms away. Definitely try Bacchu's for their coffees and Lush by the cliff for the seaview sundowner.RheaIndia
