Good breakfast
It was noisy during the night due to the laminate floors
I was totally disappointed with my stay at Delta Marriott...
I was totally disappointed with my stay at Delta Marriott Waltham abbey, I booked in for 2 nights & I didn't have a working TV in my room so early evening was a total loss
as I had just returned from Switzerland & spent my day with my grandson & great grandson, getting back to my room was not relaxing as I needed my TV to help me after a along day out,

Waltham Abbey and High Beach was beautiful and the people...
Waltham Abbey and High Beach was beautiful and the people very friendly we’ve got to see the two houses we were born in Amble tapping out grandfather’s farm met people from Waltham Abbey now and then and shared stories . Went to the Kingshead and the Wheatsheaf for lunch lovely food . Walked through Epping Forest and it is steeped in history with lots of information on the way .
Would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful village .

Enjoy our trip to the Abbey Church and gardens.
Enjoy our trip to the Abbey Church and gardens. The museum was very interesting. All the shops and buildings were highly individual. The history is amazing if you know where to look.
A visit to the Tourist information Centre is a great starting point

Was easy to find. Big car park.
Was easy to find. Big car park. Decor could use a modern face lift. The food on room service was very basic. Basically a iceland pizza for £10.00. Overall I had no real complaints though. Staff were good and was clean and tidy.

We were in Waltham Abbey for a wedding at the town hall...
We were in Waltham Abbey for a wedding at the town hall followed by a meal at Vince's restaurant. Town hall was a good venue, photos taken outside the Abbey which is beautiful. Meal at Vince's was good, large portions, friendly, accommodating staff. There is a circular route for cars around the town centre and several carparks.

The staff really made my stay.
The staff really made my stay.
Breakfast was well displayed with plenty of choice. Evening meals were also good and staff attentive. The pool, sauna & steam room all very welcome and clean. Towels were good quality. The car park was large and free for guests.
Downsides: The rooms are dated so sockets are minimal.. Bath with overhead shower had tendency to run at odd times!…Air con/ heater noisy .. TV had limited channels. Not everything advertised on website are actually available so check beforehand .
All the staff we encountered in the hotel provided excellent customer services and were super friendly, clearly they all take pride in their work and enjoy working here. They were providing a service that was on par with many 5 start hotels.
Particular thanks to Anitta and the male member of staff in the bar who went above and beyond making us comfortable with 2 fussy children who'd had a long day travelling.
I was & still am upset about my stay at Delta hotel Waltham abbey, I spent the 2 nights there without a TV I wasn't offered a room change, I was offered complementary breakfast for the 2 days of which I had to send back as it was cold & not offered any alternatives I am very upset about the situation I found myself in, Thank you.
It is a home away from home just perfect, even the bits and pieces you usually use in a reflex in your own home it is there, the set up in the property you need to come see for yourself it was excellent. Also the space is the most ideal, you are not squashed like usual hotel set up,to add the location it is near most facilities.
I loved the customer service. I feel he also tried to make me and my friend feel very welcome by having a firestick and having a whole range of movies and films. I feel the quality of the flat is a home type of design to make everyone feel welcome and happy about the design just like a hotel.
Working in east London couldn’t have been more convenient, 35 min drive from Leyton and Paula was the friendliest host ever. Met us there and was always available. Was a bit suspicious as it was so well priced but perfect little flat for two tradesmen working away, beats staying at a hotel
Comparing the property to the Premier Inn Waltham Abbey where I stay previously, it’s considerably better, not so rundown and nicely a portion rooms. Generally a much nicer hotel which ended up being cheaper than the Premier Inn .
Originally from Waltham Abbey. We like to reminisce how Waltham Abbey used to be. Obviously smaller less people less roads and traffic. Knowing Waltham Abbey as I do. I can still find the interesting parts.
Great hotel in a perfect location for the wedding I was attending. Only met one of the owners who was really welcoming and friendly. Room was very clean, comfortable and spacious.
