Peebles it self is a lovely town people very friendly. The hotel has a lot of facilities, staff very friendly and accommodating. We use the pool 3 times on our stay and had an excellent hour with mags on our gin tasting experience.

Friendly staff who accommodated our particular needs (we were travelling with two expensive race bikes to compete in a national level time trial). We were provided with secure storage for our bikes. The food in the hotel's restaurant was filling and of a local concoction — which we both really enjoyed. The room was spacious and well equipped. There is parking facilities if you are driving. The room was warm, despite having several large windows.

Great place with really friendly staff! We booked this place at the last minute after being let down by a previous host. Although they had limited rooms for pets and none were available, they made an exception for us, which we really appreciated. Highly recommended!

Lovely wee town, lots of independent shops to browse. Our favourite was CocoaBlack. It was immaculate, the chocolate and the cakes were absolutely superb. Id come back to Peebles for them alone! We liked the very welcoming community. The river was beautiful and the churches were impressive. Very scenic. Could do with more public loos being open and those that were open were expensive. Some interesting looking restaurants. People's mural interesting. Some lovely little craft shops.

Staff in all areas were excellent. Used the gym rather than the pool this time around preferring to chill out more than usual in the main lounge area. Food in the restaurant was lovely and the breakfast had almost everything you would want. If you want to eat out there are a number if options. Over our two visits we had excellent meals in The Mandarin (great team), The Cross Keys (Weatherspoons), Number 56 cafe (local favourite) Green Tree Hotel and The Crown.JamesUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

I was expecting a quaint B-and-B because of the property's age, but I ended up in a very smart and sophisticated room with great facilities and a full restaurant downstairs. Although I didn't require it, it was wheelchair-accessible, including the bathroom. Very satisfied.

They were always on hand to answer any queries or hive assistance. There is a beautiful golf course, pool ,spa and is a great base for touring the area. Peebles is close by so if you don't want to use your car, the bud stop is a short walk from hotel.
