The room was on an upper level, very spacious, clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. There was a large buffet selection for breakfast. We did select the bed and breakfast option. A good assortment of fruits, yogurts, pastries, cereal, meat and cheese, as well as hot meals such as the English Breakfast. The staff were very friendly and ensured you had all you needed.
Location was good, we did ride a bus then walked to the hotel upon arrival at the airport. The walking part was about 15 mins. Which we did not mind after sitting on a plane for 8 hours. There are also trails, and sites nearby to visit during your stay.
I wish I could comment on the spa, unfortunately we did not have the time. There appeared to be a good selection of treatments available.
Located in Egham, 8.4 km from Windsor Castle, Kings Arms provides accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking and a bar.

Booked for daughters birthday !
Booking was for room called Percy (confirmation received)
On arrival they were put into Ross.
Coming back from dinner they found bed bugs sitting on the bed and crawling up the wall! This was at 10.00pm
Daughter rang me upset, I tried calling around various hotels for them to move. The man on duty did find an alternative room at another hotel
By the time they arrived and got to the second hotel it was 11.30pm! They were exhausted AND was put into a single person room (this room is on the hotels website and advertised as a single room)
My daughter's partner is 6ft 3in tall and she is 5ft7in so made for an interesting sleep squeezed into an over sized single bed - not quite the birthday treat she envisaged.
Daughter was told I would receive a refund, I have emailed about this and received nothing back so am now writing a review (was going to keep quiet)
Located near Windsor, Great Fosters - Near Windsor is a fine example of Elizabethan architecture set within 50 acres.

I am so glad I found this hotel. I was not expecting anything as wonderful so was pleasantly surprised. It makes all the difference to a stay when every one of the staff are helpful and friendly. It was my birthday and I was kindly upgraded to a wonderful room and it really did make me very happy. The place is immaculate and well looked after and the grounds are incredible. Thanks so much!

Location Staff so nice helpful Nothibgvtoo much trouble
Styled like a French chateau, this historical manor is 1.5 miles from Ascot Racecourse. It has a relaxing spa with swimming pool and gym, and boasts an AA Rosette-rated restaurant.
It's a university town, what can one say? The nice thing is that it is small and actually quiet. There are a couple of nice restaurants and all the necessary shops. The train is convenient if you have to go to a bigger town for some shopping or you're on your way to London.

Egham is an excellent base for visits.
Egham is an excellent base for visits. Website tends to send people London bound and misses the wonderful Runnymede Meadows, Windsor Great Park, Savill Gardens, Virginia Water and Windsor itself, also Heathrow if you are interested in that.
Always recommend Savill Garden and the wonderful freedom of Windsor Great Park. Bar 163 in the High Street offers good menu.
Also a good base for several sporting events inc. RFU Twickenham etc,

I loved walking through Runnymede & seeing some of the Magna Carta monuments. Mostly I wanted to see Writ in Water but I enjoyed others too https://www.nationaltrust.org.uk/runnymede/features/turner-prize-winning-artist-to-create-new-work-to-celebrate-magna-carta
There are marked paths taking you across fields, along the river Thames and in ancient woodland.

We was only there as our daughter was graduating at royal Holloway university.
The planes are constant but you are next door to Heathrow.
Lively town center
Plenty of places to eat and drink
We recommend bray marina restaurant beautiful location on the river just outside of egham.
The crown pub was excellent
Would definitely stay a little further away from Heathrow only due to noise.
Virginia waters amazing and free apart from parking £3.00 an hour.

Egham is a beautiful and quite place. My son studied at the Royal Holloway of London located in Egham. He also liked living there. If you want something more … noisy you can use the train and visit London in less than an hour.

Egham is small but charming - lovely little pubs and adequate grocery stores and coffee bars.- super access to Royal Holloway university, the Thames river and the Runnymede / magna carta monuments. Direct access to Windsor castle by bus but it is also walkable -- about 5 miles for those who enjoy walking.
The train station is right int he heart of town and provides easy access to Bath, Oxford and London.
We loved the Crown pub - but we also ate some great Persian food at Polow.
The apartment was clean , comfortable and equipped with basic utilities such as laundry machine , kitchen , stove , oven etc. Owner Nazar was very friendly and helpful. Responded fast to my messages and questions. Apartment is also conveniently located nearby (100 meter away) from Tesco , Waitrose supermarket , Egham High Street shops and a few eateries (e.g. Starbucks , Subway , Papa John, Burger King). It is only 20 meter walk to Egham train station. Myself and family enjoyed our 2 weeks stay.
We loved our stay at the apartment which is in a very good location. Egham High Street is a few minutes' walk away with Tesco and Waitrose plus take aways and a few pubs and restaurants. The secure parking space is very good, the apartment is clean, comfortable and quiet. The en suite shower is small but we managed ok. A shower screen or curtain would make the Bathroom shower more easy to use but this is a minor point as our overall stay was excellent.
The apartment is perfectly located in Egham, close to the Royal Holloway and Windsor Castle. It was sparkling clean, quiet and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very nice and helpful hosts who were very prompt to answer all our questions and provide assistance when needed. They accommodated all our requests and were a pleasure to communicate with. Thank you, Nazar and Vincent for everything!
Easy check in service.
Apartment was clean and spacious and suitable for a couple of nights.
Good location if you have a car and are travelling into Windsor / Legoland.
Walking distance from Egham town center where there are lots of nice places to eat.
TV in both bedrooms and the living room. Hairdryer and iron.
The patio overlooking the Thames was lovely. We enjoyed a drink and light meal while watching boats on the Thames. The included breakfast was excellent and offered a wide variety of food. There is a lovely walking path along the Thames that runs in front of the hotel.
The Kings Arms was a hidden gem in a small suburban town. Not only was service impeccable, but the food was top notch too! The service team went above and beyond to help us navigate around the area and checked in regularly to make sure everything was going smoothly.
The apartment is situated very close to Egham Station which seems great because it's easy access to the rail. However, since they do not advertise this, it also means the property sits RIGHT on the train tracks. Only meters away from rushing trains day and night
Location, grounds, design of building. The staff were amazing- remembering our room number, preferences of drinks etc from one day to the next. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. Highly recommended hotel and we would definitely go again.
Even though the place we rented was in Egham, they gave us a place in a different town. We had to travel 15 minutes from town by taxi every day. We were left alone with our suitcases, without even wanting to explain the issue in a very bad manner.
For the price the room was pretty good. The best part was how clean the apartment was - everything was immaculately clean, and whoever is responsible for cleaning should be given huge praise for being so thorough and meticulous.
Super quiet location, with a nice High Street and Rail station to London Waterloo. Rooms and very nice and clean with en suite. Close to LHR for a late arrival and starting point. Nice Breakfast included.
Lovely relaxing stay, boat looks exactly like the images and was spotlessly, lovely friendly hosts . We will be back again as nice to stay somewhere different from a hotel.
The stay in this hotel was really relaxing, food in the restaurant very nice with variety of choices. Staff very friendly and helpful with the smile on their face.
Excellent communication from owners and location perfect for Windsor
Good value for money
Egham high street only five minutes walk with lots of eating places
location was good for wedding at Great Fosters & family gatherings in Egham but the handles on both bathroom doors need attention but had everything needed
