L’Hospitalet de Llobregat is roughly midway between Barcelona El Prat Airport and the centre of the Catalan capital, which makes it a popular accommodation choice. Although now effectively a Barcelona suburb, it is actually a separate city and is one of the most densely populated in the EU, which means no shortage of cheap hostels, modern apartments and luxury hotels on Booking.com.
One of these – the Hesperia Hotel – is a landmark in its own right, as its bulbous tower encloses a panoramic restaurant. Other innovative skyscrapers pepper the skyline – a sign of the city’s financial importance. Fira Barcelona Montjuic is a busy exhibition centre and across the road is the large Gran Via 2 Shopping Centre.
Metro stations on the Gran Via connect Hospitalet de Llobregat to Plaça d'Espanya. It is also linked to Barcelona Sants by trains from the station near El Centre, the oldest district. Narrow Carrer Xipreret is lined with pastel-coloured buildings and a historic building around the corner houses the Hospitalet History Museum. Another interesting structure is the Can Sumarro library and the surrounding shops, cafés and bars reflect the diverse population.
In the north, near Barcelona’s Les Corts district, is the iconic Nou Camp stadium, home of world-famous FC Barcelona.

The apartment is an immense value for money.
The apartment is an immense value for money. It has everything you need for your stay. There is a metro close by as well as a supermarket with everything close by also. You also don't need to worry about chargers and adapters as the wall sockets have integrated USB and USB-C ports. TV comes with Android TV so you don't need to hassle about bringing your laptop to watch something. You can easily connect a laptop if required. The sofa bed is comfortable as well as the beds. The kitchen has all the necessary things (Note for my stay one of the kitchens was closed) Bathroom has amazing pressure and hot water always. The Bad: The internal door for our room sometimes required a different code to open which I had to call twice to retrieve. Wifi in some parts of the room is very low signal, but it works across the street in front of the main door xD Overall it was a great stay, if I ever needed anything they were a call away and always helped me as professional as possible :)

Sent my days in Barcelona, I was there just to sleep because I got a cheaper hotel located there. There were no good options for restaurants for dinner or coffee places. It's not a touristic area at all. Wouldnt recommend staying there unless you need to save some money on accommodation or have a specific event you're are attending nearby.

Great acomodation for a very good price in central location. We were in Barcelona for a Euroleague game and all were fantastic. The facility have exactly what you would need and furnished ia tasty style especially for thar kind of price range. Maybe the only thing that could be seen as a flaw was the lack of an elevator... But we didn't need any .

The people in the front desk was very helpful.
The people in the front desk was very helpful. Our flight arrived at 9am the check in was at 3pm but they help us and let us in the room earlier. That made a huge difference for us cause we were able to rest and then go out and enjoy the city until late.

Our room was upgraded free of charge at arrival and looked great, with nice beds and were very clean. Room had a fridge and a stove, which is very helpful. Rarely anyone at the front desk, but that is no problem since they give you a key for the front door and communication is easy through Whatsapp. Questions were taken care of fast (like opening the safe or clean towels) and an issue with the bathroom sink got repaired the next day.GerritdinaNetherlands

The location is very much okay as 5 min walk from metro and walking distance to Barcelona Camp Nou stadium also the neighbourhood is really safe and attractive with a lot of Latino shops and some bars and a nice Mercat. The hostel is vibrant and dynamic with many travelers and feels in a way comfortable if you adapt to what it is.

The metro station in front of Barcelona University is only 200m away and gives you fast and easy access to all you wish to see in this beautiful city. There is no really need to pay expensive hotels in city center.
