It has everything you need and lies in a very quiet neighbourhood. Only a 10 min walk to the river. Only 5 min from shopping centre. Our only regret was that we could not stay longer.

It is immaculately designed, very well located next to the forest and the sea. The hosts deliver a complete breakfast basket at request and will give you recommendations for seafood delivery. We will definitely be back.

The room was nice and clean, but what really made our stay so good was how nice and attentive Bruno was. He recommended us a place to eat and to do some wine tasting and in the end he even drove us to the train station as there was no taxi available. would definately book again!

Probably one of the best we have ever stayed at. We appreciated the coffee. The bathroom was marvelous and having a washing machine was most helpful. It was in an excellent location.

The nearest airport is Bergerac Dordogne Périgord Airport, 66 km from Grande chambre chez l'artiste-peintre. Spacious and comfortable room with great hosts, who booked a table for us at the wine bar opposite. The tapas was excellent and fairly priced as was the beer in the microbrewery next to the wine bar. Free parking at the house was very useful as the streets are tiny and twisting and parking is not easy to find.
