Other than a strong water flow in the shower not much else. Cleanliness was practically non existent.. furniture was old and uncomfortable.. carpets were filthy.. sheets were clean.. Understood it was a budget arrangement but $199 for a room the size not much bigger than a bathroom and in its condition was not budget but a complete rip off.

The accommodation was absolutely filthy.
The accommodation was absolutely filthy. The room was smelly as soon as we opened the door. There was dust on the furniture which had been written on. ie. we were here!! The bed was filthy. There was no carpet on the floor. The balcony had wood rot and could be very dangerous. From car to steps leading to room was very dangerous and had not been cleaned up for use by people staying in the motel. I will never stay in Coffs Harbour again. It was $267 per night as there was a Football Carnival on and we had no idea this would fill all the motels in Coffs Harbour. One hotel was charging $500 per night and it was right on the highway. Never, ever stop at the Big Banana Accommodation. Unfortunately my husband is 81 and we felt we could not drive to the next town. Next time it will be worth sleeping on the side of the road in our car. That's how bad the accommodation was.
